Coimbatore Corporation imposed a total fine of Rs 15 lakh on BSNL and private companies for road damage, illegal cable trenching, garbage dumping, and improper road restoration.
The Coimbatore Corporation imposed a ₹5 lakh fine on Suez for failing to restore roads after water project work. Commissioner Sivaguru Prabhakaran also inspected sanitation and drainage works across the city.
